Contrary to my very social career as a hairstylist and the decade I spent bartending, you'll find me living a pretty introverted home life.

I've traveled quite a bit, and spent many nights singing karaoke (whether it was good or not is subjective). I enjoy tedious tasks, like putting in 100 foils just to pull them right back out (also satisfying). I have always had a passion for organizing, and I confess- I have quite the collection of stationery and craft supplies!

These days I treasure family time, and quiet, cozy nights at home watching TV or doing DIY home improvements with my partner of 19 years. In my tiny craft corner, I attempt card-making and creative journaling. I have become an avid gardener and no longer scream when I see a bee, though I still might run. I still love karaoke, but it's now limited to the inside of my car.

As a hairstylist for 16 years in our amazing and diverse community, I've learned how to customize color techniques for ALL hair types. Gray coverage, gray blending and natural-looking highlights are my specialty. Making sure that your hair stays as healthy as possible is my priority. I also enjoy adding in a vivid color when anyone wants to spice it up!

Gray blending has never been more in demand than in recent days- and more hairstylists are jumping on social media to offer it as a service every day- I know you've noticed.

However, going gray is a HUGE life decision- a journey- and I treat it as such. I prefer to approach it with honesty about whether a service will truly give you the results you want, rather than just churn out a result. I will recommend the healthiest options for your hair- even if that means I don't perform a service on your hair at all. I formulate not just a plan for the day of your service, but a plan for the weeks, months, and years ahead. My personal experience of wearing every color of the rainbow in my hair to going naturally gray was challenging, to put it mildly.
